The Week After Songkran 2013: Any Events?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Unfortunatly, I won't travel to Thailand for Songkran this year, but I will be in the country from 19 to 26th of april.

Does anyone know interesting events in or around BKK, Chonburi, Ayutthaya, Khorat, or Khon Kaen, during this week? (festivals, processions, and so on...)

Thanks by advance!

PS: I was told Phra Pradaeng in Samut Prakan will start 27th... and too late for me !

From memory, Songkran does vary a little in it's timing and length based on the Provence that you are in. Though the national holiday doesn't.

Maybe Pattaya have an extended festival for another week after it finishes in Bangkok for example.
