Where To Buy Ski Clothes In Bkk

Featured Replies

Off to Korea in a few weeks and need to buy Ski gear before I get there.

Any one know of a shop in Bangkok. I know i can get this online but wanted to try on first.

Thanks

We got ours in MBK a couple of years, I don't if they were copies or not but they did the trick, and there were plenty of people buying them.

We also went to South Korea, Yong Pyong, and enjoyed it very much.

Pratunam ... There are some shops with some reasonable ski clothes.

Be careful - Winter gear is not something to skimp on at MBK - Especially for a Thai lady who may feel the cold significantly more than you will. And, If she gets cold things will get horrible for you both.

My Wife and I ski each year and I place great importance on her warmth:

I recommend that you consider base layers seriously: i.e. base layer trousers and top - but also base layer gloves.

I also recommend a good neck-snoodie fleece material.

Ski mittens are much better and warmer than gloves and make a big difference.

A Thin Balaclava will also make a difference.

North Face Shops Provide all you will need.

But also at the Malls – Columbia Winter clothing is also good.

They are pricey, but when out on the slopes the worst thing that can happen is that your Wife gets too cold and you can’t enjoy yourselves.

BangkokSpoon: Where are you going in Korea ? I’ve been interested to pop across to Muji, however always end up in Europe… Japan (Hokkaido) is also an option.

the major malls, Paragon, CentralWorld, etc, will have major labels with ski stuff, albeit a more limited supply. Also prepare to spend an extra 20%.

Platinum Mall has a few shops selling good quality cold weather gear at good prices
