Carlosm
Recently came out of the dark ages and got a new computer with windows 7 and got a 10Mb package from TOT. Decided to download and watch free' movies. After about an hour got really frustrated with all the BS about giving your credit card details though no money will be removed from youe account or tonnes of adverts popping up or having to do a survey first etc etc. So, for all those that have navigated the mine field already.... where's the best place to look for free movie dowmloads ? Also, any links would be appreciated.

Popular Post Crossy
Forum rules, my bold:- 17) Not to post links to pages that contain objectionable material. This includes, warez, cracks, pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's, eBay listings and requests for donations. Discussion of file-sharing of pirated material is prohibited, however file sharing for legal purposes is allowed. We all know filesharing goes on, many of us do it (yes I do). We have quite an open interpretation of Rule 17, please avoid direct links to filesharing sites and certainly don't link to .torrent files. Mentioning sites by name eg thebox.bz is generally tolerated. Just apply a little common sense

draftvader
Being quite specific in your google searches can produce a lot of good stuff. In basic terms if your "google-<deleted>" is strong then you will know that if the first few results don't do it then you're not onto much. A good example is typing the film name in full with 720 torrent You are looking for files in the 4-6Gb region. If you are looking at DVD quality they should be around 700-900Mb. Remember that anything offering you a download manager is SUSPECT. Any decent torrent site might suggest a torrent client, but won't make you download one to start with. There should be NO payment for torrents at all. Anonymising? Not too much of a worry here in Thailand. Make sure that you leave some strong torrenting films in your torrent so that your scores stay high and you get good efficient download speeds. There are plenty of sites on tuning your torrents for better performance too....just search about. For BBC and ITV live without any extra .exe files to worry about you can use the Hola extension in Chrome. Just search google and off you go. BEENTHEREDONETHAT
It's a no-no discussing piracy in open forums.... I'm sure that like me they only download movies with expired copyright. Not illegal at all. For that kickasstorrents.com is the best. They don't ask for anything.
aarn
archive.org - many non-copyright films for various legit reasons eg. commercial release forgot to include copyright disclaimer! The arch downloads fast, too. AA
lomatopo
It might help if the OP could refine their request? Types of movies: new, old, Hollywood, Thai, etc. Subtitles: Any required? Format: to watch on a PC? TV? DVD? As many have mentioned, using a bit torrent client may be the most straight-froward way? u(micro)Torrent is a good client for the PC, and kickasstorrents a decent site to find torrent files, typically for single-file, ripped films in AVI or MP4 format. There are many, many other alternatives, esp. for straight-up DVD ISOs, even with Thai subs.
Tywais
Closing this topic as it has already gone over the line by admitting downloading current, copyrighted, Hollywood movie. Post removed and one with a link to an .exe file removed as no certainty it doesn't have virus or malware. The OP already has his answer. //Closed//
