Can Anyone Recommend A Good Doctor?

Featured Replies

i have a horrible case of tonsillitis or strep throat that doesn't seem to respond to antibiotics... fever for 3 days etc. I have considered going to the hospital but last time I was there they were basically useless (just glorified drug pushers really)... Can anyone recommend a good doctor on the island?

Did you contact Mrs 'SBK' ? Maybe one of the moderators has her phonenumber....she might be able to help you fast with her contacts...

send a PM to one or more Mods....if she's not online.

Good Luck !

Got the PM, thanks for the tip Laopo.

I've already PM'd her back but just as a future reference here is my two cents worth.

Dr Worawut is the new dr at the hospital, he also runs a clinic in his time off. He is young but seems to be quite good, and has correctly diagnosed and treated not only my husband but several friends of mine. He has a very good, confident manner and is quite fair in his pricing. I would recommend the clinic, it is opposite the big gas station in Thong Sala, on the road from the pier.

I wonder how long he will last? The good ones usually get sent somewhere bigger pretty quick.
