Where To Get A Picnic Mat?

Featured Replies

Bangkok is kinda blessed with some good parks. Those parks are nice enough for reading or simply staring at sky. I've been looking for a picnic mat but still got no luck. I've tried dept store in Paragon and Emporium and Ikea.

anyone can help?

cheers,

S

Go to the Thai Handicrafts section of any major Department Store (or places like Chatuchak Market if you are more adventurous) and you will find lots Thai-style Picnic Mats made of split bamboo, grass stalks or - sadly more commonly these days - plastic strips.

Thanks for ur suggestion, Patrick.

I would actually prefer for a mat that's made by fabric, not a bamboo. Something like in the pic: post-163239-0-82809100-1361170746.jpg

Any more ideas?
