In my experience, opportunities upon opportunities (at developing income streams that can beat inflation through their own returns and profit margins) invariably present themselves to savers (certainly a lot more than non-savers). Eventually one gets to the point where they can use their interest income to partake in new small business ventures and real estate investments as well without even touching the principle.
