PATTAYA:--A Minivan driver who was returning to Bangkok after dropping off passengers in Pattaya and Rayong was involved in a fatal road crash in East Pattaya early on Tuesday Morning.

Police and rescue services were called to the Kow Mai Gaew area following the crash involving a Toyota Commuter Minivan, driven by Khun Sarawoot aged 30, and a motorbike driven by a Thai man thought to be aged in his late twenties.

The deceased bike driver had sustained major life-ending injuries to his head and multiple broken bones suggesting to Police that a high impact collision took place.
Waiting at the scene to talk to Police was the minivan driver who works for a well-known multi-national company and was returning to Bangkok.

Could be one of dozens of scenarios, but have to agree, mini vans and their drivers are not the model drivers. I would say that if you are ever stuck behind a mini van, you should buy a lottery ticket that day. Most of the time, they are about 30cm behind you, with their lights flashing. But then, I have seen a couple motor bikes, that didnt quite obey all the traffic laws either!

At least he didnt flee the scene , he must be one of the good guys,
