Rasseru
I would appreciate suggestions as to shops that sell a wide range of window glass and will cut pieces to order.
Dante99
Wang Sing Kham Road going south form the Super Highway about 200 meters on the right is a shop with about 4 cars of parking in front and a driveway to the back on the North side. From the front it looks like a hardware store but in the back they have a large glass shop. They cut to order and have a variety of types of glass. One of the best shops for plywood too. I don't do Google Maps or GPS but with a little effort it can be found.
Rasseru
Thank you, Dante99. Your directions and explanation are very clear. I expect to have no trouble finding the place.
Rasseru
Thank you once again, Dante99. I went this morning, found the place and found the kind of glass I was looking for. They have an excellent selection and are very helpful. For the benefit of anyone who finds this thread later and wants to find the shop, a cautionary note: the shop is something more like 800 metres south of the Superhighway, rather than 200. Dante99
Glad it worked out. I do not doubt it is closer to 800 meters, have not been there in a while and usually start looking for it early, wonder if I passed it and then arrive.
Koru
WOW....thanks for the post...just also have what I wanted, custom cut mirrors. And the plywood/veneer selection is huge. I am going back....currently renovating and I got some great ideas while there. Had a guy who spoke pretty good English. Possibly the son of owner. Thanks Thai VISA
