I am from Jakarta, Indonesia and will be travelling to Chiang Mai this month for Thai Massage course with total to 40 days trip.

Would single entry tourist visa applied at the Thai mbassy in Jakarta be fine for this purpose?

Hi lopburi3, thank you for replying. I have also read that one of the visa requirements is that we need to submit evidence of travel (air ticket paid in full).

I assumed that we can submit the confirmed itineray first instead of the ticket, right?

That is a Consulate issue and will vary from place to place - often there is no requirement to show if you are a citizen or resident of the country Consulate is located in. You should ask Consulate.
