Plenty of Fish and OKCupid have a few farangs on them (living in BKK anyway). It's funny because you can date farang girls living in Thailand that wouldn't even bother replying to your message back home. Here no one pays them any attention as everyones after the Thai girls (and most Western women don't seem to find the locals attractive) so they drop their bitch shields and get more realistic unlike when back home where they have unrealistic expectations.

Depends where you are - if you are in a popular tourist spot, then there is a stealth approach which is the Couch Surfing (CS) website.

1) You put your couch up for use and people send you messages to come and sleep on your couch, obviously you make a good reason to keep the guys from staying, but at the same time, you need to keep your 'respond to messages' percentage so make a good excuse and your couch will remain high up the rankings. You then do your best to try and bang the sexy female who sleeps on your couch - I have had limited success, but it is possible.

2) You attend a CS weekly meeting, and there are sure to be many western girls attending, you all get drunk together and who knows what could happen.

3) - not to to with CS, but you join a 'bar crawl' they have them in BKK and you all go around in a group, its a place where you may find single girls... one CS girl who stayed with me said she had been on a bar crawl and met some BKK based expat teachers on it - I said - wow, such a great idea to meet falang ladies... and then she went a bit quite and told me that she feels stupid as she infact did sleep with one of these scumbag teachers - so this method also works.

4) there is a new app out called Tinder which is a hook up app, install it onto your phone and it will locate girls / guys near you... you say yes or no and if you get a match you can both start chatting - I see a lot of western girls on this app.

Best bet though is to go home

I've been noticing quite a few very attractive farang girls/women around BKK of late.

Obviously, they can see what's going on with the guys and local girls here but, when I chat with 'em, they don't give off an air of desperation or a sense that they have difficulty in attracting wanted attention from expat males.

No I don't need to date a tourist, if I wanted to do that I don't have a problem. I don't have problems getting a date with Thai men. I do speak Northern Thai and eat the food. I have not run out of money. I would just like to be with someone like minded
