I then dropped into a university graduate program back in the US and for the first few days all white people looked alike and it was awkward making eye contact. I think we all shudder at the thought of what the reaction would have been but she wasn't Thai. Recently a small shop chain in China was ordered to change it's external colour scheme as the Thai Embassy complained the layout and colours resembled those of the Thai flag. Pettry or what ?
