Somsak orders '5-minute' House-Senate meeting on April 18
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- House Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont said yesterday he had asked the government, opposition and Senate whips to organise a special joint House-Senate meeting to complete the session begun last Wednesday, following a complaint from the opposition.

The House is due to convene on April 18 and the joint meeting, which is expected to last only about five minutes, can take place at any time between then and a House recess on April 20.

The joint meeting considering the first reading of constitutional amendment bills adjourned on Wednesday after the parliamentarians failed to agree on a timeframe for an ad-hoc panel for a second reading.

fast food democracy in action, just like the restaurants, the result will no doubt be poorly prepared, have a funny taste and will leave you feeling nauseous afterwards. not to mention the fact that in the back of your mind you know that the hands that handled the food/legislation are dirty and someone is spitting on it.

Someone had a nasty Skype call.

This must be part of the tendency to offer 'short time' over 'long time'.
