Booking Domestic Tickets For A Thai

Featured Replies

Hi,

A quick question: It is my first time booking a domestic flight (BKK>Chiang Mai) for a Thai national.

Should I use the Thai's name in its native Thai script or the Romanized version of the name for the booking?

Thanks!

use the romanised version..

Either, your choice!

I always do in English for my Thai relatives. Exactly as their name is on their ID Cards.

I usually buy the tickets in advance online, whether it is Thai Air, Nok Air, or Bangkok Air.

Thai Airways will want to see the credit card used to pay for ticket when checking in.

Be aware of this if you are not travelling with the Thai person.
