NaiGreg
Will be spending some time in the area in April with family. Would love to spend a few afternoons dinghy sailing (we just don't have enough of it in Chiangmai! ) Hope someone can tell me about availability, type, costs, etc. How are the prevailing afternoon winds this tme of year? Organized events? Lessons for kids? I suspect it is similar to what one can find in other resort areas outside of Phuket, but any info is greatly appreciated. -Naigreg
baht&sold
Just south of Hua Hin there's a small sailing club on the other side of Pranburi. You could rent dinghy's, hobie's etc, guided or non. They had instructors giving lessons on hand last time I was there but it's been a couple years since I last popped in. Maybe someone could provide an update? Also, the modest Hua Hin Regatta 2006 is coming up Aug 2cnd to 6th, held at the Royal Naval Yacht Club Edited March 19, 2006 by baht&sold
