weecree
Hi guys, need a reputable asus dude who can happy take apart and resolder the Power Jack. Its pretty much dying. I can kinda squeeze life out of it by mucking about with the cord, but gets harder everyday. Anyone have solid experience and can recommend someone? Have about a week left in bangkok before moving to a rural spot so need to probably do it now before it gets much worse and end up destroying the lead as well as the jack. Thanks all. NanLaew
If the laptop still has a warranty, then the ASUS facility mentioned is the place to go but they won't fix it while you wait. If it is out of warranty, then try any of the butcher shops in Panthip, usually on the back alleys and away from the escalators.
