Dish Washers

Featured Replies

My wife just bought a expensive Siemens dish washer thinking it would make life easier . But now we still have to rinse the plates etc and stack the thing then add expensive powder with shine and dry liquid then turn it on which runs for about two hours and then unload it and stack the dishes in the cupboards. some times we need to wash some items again due to food sticking to items .

Now I'm wondering is it worth it ...

dishwashers need quite a bit of water pressure for the jets to work effectively, try connecting a high pressure pump to the water pipe, youll probably find it washes and rinses better

How does food stick to your plates when you rinse them off?

Did you do any research on the product before you purchased it?

mine works wonderfully, but she only comes for 3-4 hours a day 5 days a week. does laundry too

Pressure is handled by the pump irrespective of your external pressure. Not enough salt is often the cause of poor results. If it's a Siemens with auto senor it's often best used on that setting.

My wife married her dish washer.

Doesn't matter if it's useless, as long as dinner party guests see it & leave impressed coffee1.gif

I impress my dinner party guests by greeting them in my birthday suit.

Dish washers are some of the most useful machines existing. I never rinse anything, they work perfectly. Of course, you must add the correct chemicals, that's the point.

It is the rainy season be like the thais and leave them out side for the rain to wash them then the sun comes out and dries them easy :)

I use my hands. They are very good dishwashers.

And you need to pay a much bigger water bill let alone the cost of the expensive soap powers and rinse chemicals.

No thanks, helping with the dishes etc., is the way my kids earned their allowance.
