Phuket Air is included in a BLACKLIST :o of 96* Airlines which are completely banned from flying into European Members' countries.

I´m pretty sure that the list is made based not only on safety audits and/or concerns but political issues as well. For example, Air Koryo of North Korea operates a fleet of Russian-built aircraft in pristine condition. The airline is probably banned because it is part of G.W.'s "Axis of Evil".
