Driving to Pattaya we noticed many drivers, maybe 50 or so cars, pulling over to the side of the road looking up to the sky with a lot taking photos, I had to have look.

Sure it's common but I have never seen anything like this.

Seen that before.Think it's something to do with water crystals/vapour in the air ?.

Vinny is correct, about the ice crystals and other factors that cause this effect.......I have also seen it with a full moon.....my apologies for no photos.
