Greenside
The quality of the orange juice here seems to vary hugely, along with the price (which always seems to me to be extortionate given the amount grown in the region). Anyway, a heads up for those who can be bothered to look at the labels carefully: Macro's M&K "Fresh" brand Valencia Orange Juice bearing the dates below is a major cut above the rest. Pice: 49 baht/litre, in the Hang Dong Store yesterday. Edited May 27, 2013 by Greenside
Saan
Got me. I'm a bit of a Malee fan but it is quite a bit dearer. Thanks I will try your recommendation.
WinnieTheKhwai
Tried it.. It's okay (similar to their Aro brand) but won't fool anyone that it's freshly squeezed..
scd
Pet hate = the amount of cafes/restaurants etc that are currently selling prepackaged juice as freshly squeezed.

ARISTIDE
I can get a real freshly squeeze OJ at the three kings monument for about 60 baths. Expire in 2 days and made in front of you. Plus the owner look like an attractive lonely widow.
WinnieTheKhwai
Not a patch on fresh squeezed but who can afford that on a regular basis? Cheaper than beer.... Beer is exempt from budgetary constraints or cost comparisons with anything besides other beers. Orange juice is in with fruits and vegetables and other non-essential groceries. Completely separate budgets.

I'm not bathing a lonely widow for my orange juice, no matter how attractive.
