wigantojapan
slow burning yelow smoke all over the village for the pat few days as the main part of the lychee harvest is now in Asked a 10 year old girl if they teach her in school about burning fires yes she said the Teachers tell us its bad for our health YET still they burn fires The village i live in won an award for beeing mosqito free(46 recorded cases in the past week in the neighbouring village) so why arent the head of te village doing NOTHING about the fire burning They now have bult a compost heap facility in the village with notices there about fire burning, but even the head of the village burn There are no police in the village and the poliveforce are 10km away even if they were to enforce it Another reason the leave Thailand. Another thing i learnt about the Lychee Harvest is there is a lot of theiving in the middle of the night/day by ungaurded orchards You learn something new every day

NOT JOKING about the fine for mosquito FINES are the answer to get the people to stop but as stated before nearest police station is 10km away thats not going to happen so meanwhile the people die young . In my initial post i did write THE MAIN PART OF THE LYCHEE HARVEST IS OVER so yes there are still lychees on the trees as we speak, not good for the farmers as the price has dropped drastically in the past week in part due to the Rambutan harvest in at the same time from the South wonder if they burn the leaves and the wood of the Rambutan in the south
