PATTAYA:--Khun Daetanar, General Manager of Banglamung Cable TV, reported an alleged sabotage of cabling situated in the North Pattaya area in the early hours of Monday which temporarily disrupted cable TV to thousands of homes.

Three cable companies were affected by the incident: Banglmaung Cable TV, Sophon Cable TV and Jomtien Cable TV. Services to Thipmanee Cable TV were not affected.

Khun Daetanar reported the incident at Pattaya Police Station and revealed that the cable TV business in Pattaya is extremely competitive and he believes that someone deliberately cut a main cable located on the Sukhumvit Road underneath the overpass leading to Highway 7. The evidence of the damage was recorded by Pattaya Police who attended the scene.
