I'm looking for some hotels within close proximity to the national stadium. No thrills and spills, just head down overnight.

I'm assuming you mean national stadium in Bangkok. If that's so, let's move this over to that forum.

There are quite a few hotels on the same street as the Reno Hotel. Right next to the national stadium BTS stop and across from MBK.

There's also an Ibis just across the road.

It's not the small stadium next near MBK, it's the Rajamangala National Stadium.

No thrills and spills either, if I would contemplate paying four figures, I'd just get a taxi back home.

Is that near the stadium?

I don't know Bangkok that well, but the last time I went to the stadium, I had a lot of hassle trying to get back to my centrally based hotel. And it really is, head down for an early start next day.

The stadium doesn't show up on the agodo map, so I have no idea about hotel proximity.

The stadium is about 4kms from the Nasa Vegas Hotel, the hotel is practically opposite the Ramkhamhaeng Station on the Airport Link.

You can probably find the stadium on Google Maps, you need to look up Ratcha Mangkala Stadium, Bang Kapi.

Nasa Vegas is an awful place.

A pal of mine stayed and got badly bitten by bed bugs.
