Announcement of the Bureau of the Royal Household concerning the Royal Visit of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to the People's Republic of China

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will pay a Royal visit to the People's Republic of China from the 3rd to the 13th of April 2006.

According to the announcement of the Bureau of the Royal Household, during this trip, Her Royal Highness will be visiting the capital of Beijing, Zhejiang Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangdong Province and the City of Xiamen, in order to visit places of historical, religious and cultural importance, such as the Capital Museum, China National Silk Museum, Leifeng Pagoda and Lingyin Temple. Her Royal Highness will also observe activities in various fields which will be beneficial for the development of Thailand, such as the Beijing Xiaotangshan Modern Agriculture Science Demonstration Park. Moreover, Her Royal Highness will visit Zhejiang University, Guangxi University, South China Agricultural University, South China University of Technology, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Shantou University, Huachiew University and Xiamen University, which will present Her Royal Highness with the title of Honorary Professor of the University.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will depart from Bangkok International Airport on Monday, the 3rd of April 2006, at 10.30 hours by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited flight number TG 614, and will return by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited flight number TG 611, scheduled to arrive at Bangkok International Airport on Thursday, the 13th of April 2006 at 18.25 hours.

Announcement of the Bureau of the Royal Household concerning the Official Visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol to the People's Republic of China

Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol will pay an Official Visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China between the 5th and the 9th of April 2006.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol will be provided with an opportunity to observe various activities on herbal medicine at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and the Shanghai Institute of Biological Sciences.

Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol will depart from the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters Air Terminal, Don Muang, on Wednesday, the 5th of April 2006 by an aircraft provided by the Royal Thai Air Force, scheduled to leave at 12.20 hours and will return by the same aircraft, scheduled to arrive at the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters Air Terminal, Don Muang, on Sunday, the 9th of April 2006 at 17.00 hours.
