Jai Dee
Lopburi Waterworks set aside funds to repair provincial water system The Provincial Waterworks Authority has set aside more than 300 million baht in funds to improve the water plumbing system in Lopburi Province in order to meet local demands in the future. Mr. Prasert Chuaphanit (ประเสริฐ เชื้อพานิช), the Governor of the Provincial Waterworks Authority of Lopburi, stated that his agency has experienced a production problem in meeting the demands for local consumption, causing water pressure in the province to flow irregularly or not at all. Mr. Prasert said to alleviate this problem, the waterworks authority has set aside 40 million baht this year to modify and repair the provincial current waterworks system. Mr. Prasert stated that 364 million baht will be used for the same purpose in 2007. The governor added that the new water system will satisfy provincial water demands indefinitely.
