How to stop or get rid of them? They are driving me nuts.

I have tried wind chimes, chasing them, hanging strips of cloth, have destroyed nests, sprayed them with water, used a timer spray with insecticide.

I do not want to net the balcony, any advice on other options, that don't involve firearms?

(*decoy cats, owls do the trick too but I suspect it's a little extreme for your needs)

A couple of ideas try chilli powder or cinnamon they hate the taste, also pick up some cheap moth balls the smell puts them off. As a last resort perhaps get a piece of styro foam and attach nails so they are pointing up and try to place them where they perch.

Didn't they add birth control drugs to their feed in London some years back to control the problem ??

Another owl - wind driven. Just bought one for the wife to try in Thailand. Need to change its position from time to time as the pigeons cotten on eventually.

Get a slingshot and blast away to your heart's content. Hope you're not too high up - a pigeon falling from the 30th floor might piss off anybody it lands on.

Have a peregrine falcon for a pet !

The rubber snake always works for me, also the owl is another good idea.

Sorry but this does not work. I can see balconies that have these, and the birds adjust themselves around them.

Thanks - I will give the napthalene balls a try this week and then maybe some of the others.

I had problems with birds on my balcony. I put two used 2 cd-discs on a two strings and it worked, probably the reflections from the discs that made it work.
