micky
My Uncle has a condo and banking accounts in Bangkok. His original will is in English. Is it necessary to have it translated into Thai ? If so, where to go ? Through a lawyer or some official and recognized agencies or Government agencies. And how much ? Your kind advice is much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance. avander
Micky, Not sure how accurate this info is or if it helps but I had a quick chat with my Thai wife about this. We both have Wills in Australia to cover assets here and they mention Thai property. We are moving to Thailand soon and have property there also but in her name. She wants to make sure I am "looked after" properly there in the event anything happens to her and told me she needs to get an official Thai Will done by a local solicitor. There are previous TV posts on this subject you may be able to search for.
