samlowry
Hello! I know about plastic cleaners, but I need stainless, like this: Is there a place to buy it?
noise
I have to ask: what does this (or any tongue cleaner, for that matter) do that a simple tooth brush won't do?
samlowry
Try it - and you will see. But this topic is about different subject. Edited July 16, 2013 by samlowry
watcharacters
Try it - and you will see. But this topic is about different subject. You dismissed the question of poster "noise" and I don't understand why. I use a tongue cleaner that is not stainless and its not a toothbrush. He is asking about a difference in your posting. I ask the same question. Obviously you have queried www.google.com and not found the answer you seek. Can you be more expansive in your question? P.S. Good for you that you appear to care about the health of your teeth. My impression is that many expats don't until it is too late or they're forced to act due to pain. samlowry
The steel cleaner has thinner edge than plastic. Means - more efficient. Closest thing to the steel cleaner is a regular Thai soup spoon, but its rib is directed by not a 90° angle to the tongue. So - it's not so efficient. hellodolly
I find Listerine to be highly effective. Did you know that in ancient Rome they did not brush their teeth but they did scrape their tongue.
NeverSure
Steel tongue cleaner? Do you know someone who has a steel tongue?
circusman
How do some of you guys decide that by scraping his tongue the poster is taking care of his TEETH? And yes, a simple toothbrush does the same job.
Chicog
The top surface of the tongue can be cleaned using a tongue cleaner, a tongue brush/scraper or a toothbrush. However, toothbrushes are not considered as effective for this purpose because they are designed for brushing the teeth, which have a solid structure unlike the spongy tissue of the tongue http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongue_cleaner
Gonzo the Face
I have mine dry cleaned...... better for dry humor and Puns How did I live all these long years with a dirty, uncleaned tongue, and now I find out about tongue cleaning..... Really I don't think mine needs it, as my Mom washed it out with soap on a regular basis. Edited July 16, 2013 by Gonzo the Face

Thailand
Watsons had them. We use one and yes it is very effective and makes the mouth feel cleaner. At least it does for me!
