Thailand's village chiefs to get smart phones

The so called " haze " is actually dense smoke pollution caused by the annual illegal torching of mountain ranges in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai Provinces ..... commonly referred to in the media as " dust ". There is no need for anyone to report it. It is a regular feature at the same time each year ( February to April ) with everywhere covered with dense smoke and an acrid smell. Nothing is ever done to stop it.

Village chief- " Just a quick call khun Yingluck to say there is a lot of haze around the village this morning, But I have an Idea it's only locals making CHARCOAL (illegal) but if I spot any hills ablaze I will phone back when I get back from the farm".

a smart phone without 3 G signal or worst no 2 G signal. believe me in some area no signal from certain service provider..

My village is AIS one-2-call only but as far as I know as long as the phone is not locked into a specific provider or been unlocked then it will accept any SIM card.

What they will do with it?

Play games and watch porn with 3G speed.

No porn as the ICT will be blocking these sites, and probably block gambling sites too.....so I guess village head's will not be so interested in the phones after allwhistling.gif

No big problem in Thailand. Everything, nearly everything you can let decode! tongue.png
