July 21, 201312 yr Can anyone think of a memorable Thai sentence (or collection of words) that contains all the (non-obsolete) Thai letters? I want to use it to improve my typing skills.
July 21, 201312 yr If you mean a pangram, this seems to be the "official" Thai version: To be human is most glorious with more value Than herds of animals in the wild You must then work hard to develop your skills Dont pillage, murder or oppress anyone Dont hold grudges, be angry, curse or scold Learn forgiveness as you would good sportsmanship Behave within the rule and spirit of the law Speak nicely and sweetly so it is pleasing to the ear.

July 22, 201312 yr Author You find those sentences memorable? I was thinking of something with more everyday vocabulary.
July 22, 201312 yr You find those sentences memorable? I was thinking of something with more everyday vocabulary. Rather than insulting those who try to help you, just think how naive your original request is. There are a lot of letters in the Thai alphabet that only occur in a few obscure words. Forming a sentence using all of them is inherently highly unnatural. Consider the equivalents in English: - Sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow. - Fat hag dwarves quickly zap jinx mob. - Jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz. - Quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. If you're serious about improving your typing skills I suggest you visit http://thai-notes.com

Yes, something like the quick brown fox one - easy, memorable vocabulary. And to AyG, don't be so sensitive.

Maybe I should have said non-obscure, which is what I'm really after. I think a quick brown fox style pangram for the common Thai letters would help a lot of people. August 1, 201312 yr On somewhat the same topic I find the sentence ไก่จิกเด็กตายบนปากโอ่ง useful as all the words start with the middle class consonants. "The chicken pecked the kid to death over the mouth of the earthenware pot". The high class ones are easy to remember, so this make the mid and lower ones easy as well.
