monkey4u
Maybe this will teach those who insist on excavating the sides of hills to make a level area to build. Gravity and the rain will always win out Lucky it occured on a Sunday and not a school day
Popular Post jaltsc
Maybe this will teach those who insist on excavating the sides of hills to make a level area to build. Gravity and the rain will always win out Lucky it occured on a Sunday and not a school day As with all other scientifically proven and logical "laws" which do not suit their needs and desires, the Thai government has declared the law of gravity to be a farang myth and thus illegal in Thailand. Therefore the rich and powerful can ignore it and sell their land, no matter where it lies, for any project from which they can profit Edited July 29, 2013 by jaltsc
hkt83100
Lucky it occured on a Sunday and not a school day Like the Tsunami, which crumbled the school in Kalim (Patong Beach) and Kamala, when it hit the coasts of Phuket.

Additionally, the removal of the 'educational resources' probably filled a motorbike basket... :-(

kiwiinasia
just a bit of using inferior building materials and no solid foundations to hold everything up a middle severe earthquake in / around bangkok = most buildings will collapse A middle severe earthquake? Whats that? 3.5 or 7.5 on the richter scale? I think ANY major city without a history of severe earthquakes will have problems, not just Bangkok. "Most buildings will collapse" Nope, fire would be a much more likely problem.
