I just received my Bank of America card, which has been activated by my banker. The thing is I found out it goes with a 6-digit pin, and I am wondering if it'd work in thailands ATMs in general and at aeon ATMs in particular.

Does anybody happen to know if it'd work as the common use in Thailand is with only 4 digits?

I have a UOB card from malaysia with 6-digit pin, works fine.

Sorry , I meant 8-digit pin!

I would suggest calling BoA. Seems odd as my BoA ATM card has a 4 digit pin... maybe a regional thing?

I use a 7 digit pin for my BofA debit card at atms no problem.

Just called the customer service. My card was unblocked for 3 months. About the pin, they said I could just use the first four digits.

I tried and it worked this time.

So I guess this post would useful for a lot of people trying to use bank of America's cards overseas.
