July 31, 201313 yr When I reverse my truck there is always a clear danger that I will run over and crush a small creature or person. My track record is none too good on this issue. So I wondered if I could retrofit one of those reversing cameras mounted on the windscreen visor which the moore modern trucks have? Anyone know if it's possible to purchase one and perhaps have it fitted here in Samui? And costs? Thanks
July 31, 201313 yr I bought one from a neighbour - his daughter is bringing them onto the island. 1,900 baht. Basic but does the job. You can borrow it if you want to try it first. Let me know
July 31, 201313 yr I had one on a Toyota KLUGA in Australia. It was a standard feature so maybe you could talk to your local Toyota Dealer and see if you can buy one as a "Spare Part". This was fitted so that it operated as soon as you select Reverse Gear. By the way, I think what is called a Toyota Kluger in Australia might be the "Fortuna?" in Thailand. Hope this helps.
