file petition in court to become legal father

Featured Replies

my ex gf has taken my son (half thai, half english) without my consent. i am not the legitimate father, and she has refused to meet me at the municipal office to do this. i am now going to file a petition to take her to court to become the legitimate father. just a few questions i was hoping you might be able to shed some light on.

1 - what is the process in the court room?

2 - is it a formality i will win this? i am on the birth certificate and have photos of me and my ex together dating back 5 yrs

3 - how much will it cost me in legal fees to do this? i know it depends on the lawyer, but a rough guide . i was going to use somebody like siam legal unless you can reccommend somebody else?

4 - how much will it cost my ex gf in legal fees?

thank you

i forgot to mention my son is only 2 years old. I want to stick with the main topic but another question, is he too young for us to go to the Municipal Office if the Mother agrees to legitimation?

Thank you
