Featured Replies

Hi, I have 8 chickens on my garden and 3 dies in one week, and my daughther loved them a lot. i think they was sick because there isn't animal eaten or bitten. What could i do ? Is there is any medecine to protect them from common illness. What it could be you think ? Thank for your advice :)

They probely died from clap in the trap or as more commonly known Sour crop! Its a candida infection like thrush... thats as I take it you never saw any simptoms

did your birds loose weight first,?

what the poster above is saying i think he means canker, but with this you would see white colour typ mould in the inside of the mouth,

if your birds are loosing weight i would plumb for coxcidiosis, is there poo green and sometimes also have blood in it<? you can get treatment for both these from your vet,

coxode for the coxcidiosis,

and you want something like ridsol for the canker,

sorry for my spelling,

jake

if you can get some metronidsole tablets from the vet even better for the canker, half a tablet,

then give some multi vit,
