Man killed after knife attack by "drinking partner" in East Pattaya

fight-6.jpg

PATTAYA: -- A drinking session ended in death in the early hours of Sunday as two men, armed with knives, entered into a verbal altercation which soon turned physical.

Police were called to a village in the Nong Pla Lai area in East Pattaya just after 1.30am on Sunday but were too late to prevent the death of Khun Pan, aged in his mid-thirties. He sustained multiple stab wounds to the chest, one of them is thought to have punctured his heart.

The second man involved in the attack was Khun Prasit, who also sustained multiple stab wounds but survived the attack and is currently in a serious but stable condition in Hospital.

Thai men + alcohol + argument = never going to end well.

men + alcohol + argument = never going to end well.

Why all that sexysm? Why not mention the other members of the human race? Females, Katoy, etc.

Katoys are men!!! and women rarely kill in a drunken argument.

That's true, the women prefer to 'feed the ducks' instead...

Not just Thai men. Any men, alcohol, argument, weapon. Only going to be one ending. Any man, any country.

Lots of endings, not just one. You must be confused because you don't realise that the happy endings aren't reported.

What is the photo? If one man is dead, and the other had multiple stab wounds and was in the hospital, who then is the person in the photo? He does not appear to be in "serious condition" with multiple stab wounds. Is this just a random police photo? Or was the second man in fact barely injured?

If you read the source...

Khun Tanayoot is a friend and work colleague of both men and revealed to Police that he did not witness the fight but heard the altercation...

You mean there are happy endings in those circumstances? There is almost no need to carry weapons anyway in Thailand, You will be 99.9% safe here provided you do not get drunk, and mind your own business at all times. Unlike in the UK.
