Broken tabletop oven door

Good morning everyone,

I am hopeful that someone will be able to help me.

I purchased a Electrolux tabletop electric oven a few months ago. All was good until wednesday morning, whilst trying to warm up our croissants, upon opening the oven door I heard a snapping sound. Since then the door won't close and just falls open. This morning has been my first chance to inspect it. I unscrewed the front part of the oven that revealed a cog like part that, I imagine, something like a heat resistant band fits around and attaches to the door. This elasticity is, again what I imagine, gives the door it's sternness and ability to close. Please see attached pics for a better idea.

I would like to know if anyone knows how to fix this? What part do I need to buy? Where? How much? Is it even worth fixing?
