Hi all

im wondering can some one help? im flying to thailand on 26th of april to june 15th i only booked the tickets 2 week ago while the travel agent said i needed a visa because im going for more than a month, my friend who was previously in thailand said dont bother just get it extended while in thailand.

now im not so sure he was right this is my first trip anywhere i want piece of mind and don't want to be worrying about visa's and such. question is should i be worried? should i get tourist visa over in thailand. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

if it helps im from ireland.

WORRY!

Without confirmed onward travel within 30 days you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOARD THE AIRCRAFT!!!!

Get a visa, you still have time, although a personal visit to a consulate or embassy will probably be advisable.

EDIT Alternatively, you could get a cheapo ticket from BKK to Penang or KL (book online with Air Asia) and use that as the onward travel when they ask for it.

BTW, welcome to Thaivisa :D:o
