White supremacy is not the truth. And your inability to even fathom that white people might not be superior to nonwhite people shows that your white racism is so deep-seated, that you’ve invested so much personal energy in it, you’re beyond help, for which I’m sorry. The truth is this: all cultures have made contributions to human civilization, and all are at the same time flawed. To believe otherwise, that one civilization rises above all others in superiority, invites dissension, and hatred, and ultimately violence. You’re just a willing foot soldier for the next demagogue, who might tell you to take up arms against the family down the street because they differ in some superficial way, like skin color or what language they speak or how they worship. When were Jews not white? Why don’t you ask an eastern European Holocaust survivor. In the US context, the Irish and Italians whom you mention as “good” immigrants, and others, were also not white as recently as the early 20th century. Whiteness is not a biological reality but a social construct. But you wouldn’t know anything about that, would you. Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest humans to have ever walked on this planet, when asked what he thought about English civilization, responded that he thought it would be a good idea. But if you’re blinded by whiteness, you’re not going to be able to make much sense out of that comment.
