More on Suan Phayathai Phirom

On Monday, I went for my daily morning exercise at Suan Phayathai Phirom. There were two brand new street sweeping machines at the park. The company logo on the front of the machines says 'Mohican'. Despite repeated attempts/pleas to get exercise equipment fixed at the park and being told that there is no 'budget' for repairs, it certainly appears that there is a budget to buy expensive equipment that adds little to the overall beauty or utility of the park. Has anyone else who frequents Bangkok's public parks noticed the sudden appearance of street sweeping machines? I am sure it was a lucrative contract with the attendant benefits for those involved in the contract process.
