How to change "non imm. O (thai wife)" to "non imm. B (business)?

I am living and working (with work permit) in Bangkok for a couple of years now and did the yearly "thai wife" extension of stay. I came here with a "non imm. O" visa. Now i want to switch the reason for stay to "business". How to do it?

Do i simply take all papers for business visa and go to Immigration?

Or do i have to leave the country and get a new visa at some embassy/consulate? I am a bit confused: Do i need a new "business visa", or do i just change the "reason for (longer) stay" on the old visa?

You just change the reason of stay from being married to working and submit all relevant papers required for that extension.

But best is the have the misses going with you the first time, as they might want to be sure that your wife understands that you chage the reason for your extensions of stay.

You just change the reason for extension to working and show all the required documents including minimum salary (50k baht for most western countries).
