Photo: Kritsada MueanhawongPHUKET: -- Police and local residents are scratching their heads over a motorcycle found dumped in a pond at Rama IX Park (King’s Park) in Phuket Town (map here) yesterday morning.The abandoned bike – apparently in good condition – was first noticed by park users doing their morning exercises.“The bike, with a Ratchaburi license plate, Kor Mor Ror 407, was dumped in the lagoon but only half submerged,” Phuket City Police Lt Phumi Saemaworranon said.Kusoldharm Foundation rescue workers removed it from the pond. Redhawk Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 With a plate it should take less than 15 minutes to get to the owners name, as we are in Thailnd I gave them the credit of 15 min in Europe it takes the same amount but in seconds! Bkungbank Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 About 10 years ago I saw a farang rented a bike in Phuket but he lost the bike and the shop won't return back his passport and his is on the way to catch a flight back, you can see his tears start dropping . notting we can do as farang lost someone propert but make sure is was fully cover by insurance next time even you cost higher.
