Pattaya Jet Ski Scam Still Preying on Tourists 2013 - Despite The Apparent Clean-up?

I recent walk along the beach and the numerous Jet-ski operators are still playing their usual trick.
I saw some Indian tourists getting harassed by them and the usual Thai Tattoo Boys prancing around acting irritated and pointing to a scratch on the side of the Jetski
When i looked across the road, ironically there was a police officer stopping motorcycles and pocketing the usual fines, literally just 50 meters away!
obviously in close vicinity and probably there to be called in, as and when they need to bring in a so called official shakedown scam

After all the bad publicity, International TV Shows, Forum posts and the claims that the Mayor and Tourist police will clean up this mess, its obvious that nothing has changed and likely will ever change!
And now with high season approaching? It's just a Joke!

Here is a pic of the Comedy anyone can almost be guaranteed to see during any given stroll down the beach in Pattaya, there are numerous Jetski operators and they are all doing it.
I applaud and encourage anyone who takes photos and posts them here, with dates and details so this disgraceful behaviour which can very easily be stopped, except the powers that be are obviously corrupt and making money of it too!
Its a National disgrace and the TAT and Tourist Police really should make some effort - even if the Mayor and his Police cronies obviously get paid too much to eradicate it.

It won't stop for the very reason of ascending funds. For a cop, a 10k kick-back from one sting alone could potentially see him double his month's wage.
