Question about my new Non-Immigrant "B" visa

Featured Replies

Would anyone be able to assist me in finding out if the Non-Immigrant “B” visa that I purchased in Vientiane, Lao on 19 Sept, 2013 but is not marked “used” is still good for the 3 months stated (18 Dec, 2013)? When I crossed back to Thailand, they stamped it (Departure Card) with the dates 20 Sep, 2013 admitted until 4 Oct, 2013. Am I ok until Dec. or do I to leave 4 Oct.?

Appears to me they did not stamp your passport correctly when entering Thailand. You should have been stamped permitted to stay for 90 days, your visa only permits one entry.

Seems you failed to enter the visa number on the arrival card.

As a consequence you were given a 14 day visa exempt entry.

The local immigration office may sort it for you but be prepared to return to the border.

Immigration stamped your passport for a 15 day entry instead of 90 days. You need to go to immigration to get error corrected.

Thanks for the input folks. I'm off to the local immigration office with my fingers crossed.
