I live in Thailand nearly half the year and have been taking out travel insurance in NZ.

What is a better way of covering health and accident please.

You could try Bupa Blue Cross. Not sure on the residency thing though.

    If you have dared to live past the age of 65, just forget it in Thailand.

    Seems Thai Health Insurance companies don't want to know you unless you feel like paying a P.M's ransom. Best to keep your Private health Cover at home and go there if it is something serious.
