Yangon and Ho Chi Minh submit forms in the morning, pick up passport afternoon the following day. Have done both in the last 4 months. If you can avoid it, don't use Phnom Penh....they are pains in the a##, and like others have said 4 days is the norm. However, a good agent will streamline the process for a small fee.

Rude is right. I got there on a Tuesday and, when I tried to enter the consulate, the guard grabbed for the passport and wanted one hundred dollars to expedite. I snatched it back and did the form myself. I was then told it would be Monday, before I could pick it up (then do not include weekends in that four day waiting period). The cost to enter Cambodia, along with the flights, and 6 nights in a hotel was not worth the single entry visa I got. When I showed up on Monday, they called me last, and the passport was "thrown" into the bin under the window. It was obvious that they were trying to cash on on the one day scam. I never did this again. I go to Laos. It just makes more sense.

Huh? Phnom Penh was 3 days last year...and I was told that was the norm. Basically I submitted on Monday morning before closing time (11.30am?) and received my passport back Wednesday afternoon around 3pm or whenever it was.

I agree that everywhere but Phnom Penh is a good place to apply - Phnom Penh only do single entry tourist visas, they take longer to process than elsewhere and they want to see an inbound or outbound flight ticket.

Don't do it in Phnom Penh, try Laos as many commenters have mentioned. I did my visa there last year, four day wait, extremely rude staff etc. not worth it.

I pay up 10 Dollar for the Agent, no problem,

pick up in Hotel reception, brought back in Hotel reception, I not even signed the application.

Made some visa in Phnom Penh, never was inside the Thai Embassy. wink.png

Do not know why most people like to be back in TH so fast, in a day or two it has to be for them!

Other countries have also beautiful daughters! tongue.png
