webfact Posted October 4, 2013 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Chinese Premier to visit Thailand on October 11-13BANGKOK, 4 October 2013 (NNT) – Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang is set to pay Thailand a visit during October 11-13, during which he will meet with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang will be on his official visit to Thailand as guest of the Royal Thai Government. The Prime Minister’s trip will mark his first visit to Thailand after assuming his current position in March 2013.During his visit, Premier Li Keqiang will meet with PM Yingluck Shinawatra to discuss possibility of enhancing Thailand-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership by strengthening close cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.As Thailand is the current country coordinator for ASEAN-China relations, the two sides are expected to discuss ways to stabilize ASEAN-China partnership, which marks its 10th anniversary this year.Several bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are also expected to be signed as well.
