Testosterone injection

OK...save all the snarky comments.

I had a physical back in USA and they say my testosterone levels are low. They wanted a small fortune to give me an injection or the gel stuff there.

Does anyone know where is a simple easy place to get an injection in CR? Perhaps one of the clinics without having to go to a hospital? I really don't want to use the gels but prefer an injection.

thanks for info.

I can't see why not, as long as you know exactly what you want you could probably pick it up at the pharmaceutical wholesaler in town then get the clinic to give you the jab.

I've never been to a basic clinic in CR...always to overbrook or hospitals. Do you know of a specific clinic you would recommend? Location?

Thanks

Hi there.

The injection is 1000ml of Fluid. It should be injected very, very slowly, in the upper area of your buttocks.

Rather have it done in a hospital, as the course is for six injections then a lab workup to monitor your testosterone levels.

Have you considered just administering it yourself?

It is very safe and painless as you are injecting into a large area of muscle. Alcohol swab the upper outer quadrant of the buttock and inject the oil slowly into that area. Bodybuilders do it weekly.

I hate needles and can't stand to even watch someone else stick me...bit of a phobia I guess.

Sounds like from the advice here that I better just go to Overbrook especially if need six shots and then retest. Maybe some cute nurse will enjoy playing JAB the falang in the rear?

Thanks to all for help.

Check your dosage, 1000ml is one litre!

Go to a trained medical practitioner. Asking for medical advice on a forum like this is asking for trouble! Be Smart!

I asked if anyone knew a good clinic....hardly the same as asking for medical advice. But thanks for your concern.

I think you are very wise to at least start off at Overbrook.
You might even be able to find out from them if one of the doctors on staff has a clinic nearer to where you live and thus more convenient for continuing treatment. One shot will not have a lasting impact on your hormone levels so you will need followup.
It will also give you a price point to know if the clinics are going to save you money and how much. Good luck and hope for a cute nurse.smile.png

Should have asked your question in the medical forum, from what I understand, only 2 preparations are available in Thailand, Andriol, the oil capsules and Testoviron Depot - injections. From my experience, some pharmacies refuse to sell you these unless you have a doctor's script (some won't even sell with one). If you choose the the injections, any walk in clinic can do it and only charge you up to a few hundred baht for the materials and the procedure (if you bring in your own amp with medicine), and again, some clinics will refuse, unless you have a doctor's note. Hospital charge a lot more for this simple procedure, which you can do yourself, but if you're a needlephobic, then don't do it.

I'd start with getting your blood tests re-done in Thai hospital and get a note from a doctor for your condition, after that just stop at a few walk in clinics near your home and check with them. Like I said it's very simple procedure and if they said they can't do it, I don't trust that clinic with anything else...

Somehow I don't think asking in a general TV "medical forum" is the best place to ask if anyone who actually LIVES in Chiang Rai might be able to recommend a good clinic in Chiang Rai. Hardly makes sense to ask someone living in Bangkok for a CR recommendation.

It seems that there are no recommendations of a good medical clinic in CHIANG RAI so far so I will just go to Overbrook.

But thanks anyway.

Well said, as there are specific 'no-go' areas of the buttockes for injections. The wrong zone can cause nerve damage and everybodies physiology is different. Definitely seek out a medical professional who can assess and adminsiter accordingly.

I was actually quoting and responding to toybits statement. You were only in the 3rd person in regards to it.

Then why not go to a Gym! No questions asked GUARANTEED. Probably cheaper to. You can get all the Testo you want till your nuts shrink!

That depends on dosage and frequency of shots. But I am not a qualified medical practitioner. Some people though pretend to be. With steriods - you should be a little bit more careful. Rather strong medicine steroids are. Lots of people (bodybuilders) come to Thailand because they can't have that done in their countries of origin.

And then what? Will his life end with shrunk nuts?

This still doesn't answer why you think his life will be affected if his nuts shrink?

Taking the exogenous Testosterone will stop the endogenous Testosterone production, the sperm production will also decrease (more or less depending on an individual), some men may become sterile. These are the reason and consequences of shrunk nuts. The effects will reverse after a while when he stops taking his injections.

Does he need to worry about his nuts not producing the sperm? Probably not, as testosterone diminishes in men with age, so I'm guessing he has children already and chances are, not planing on having any more.

Does he need to worry about his nuts not producing natural testosterone? Probably not, as they aren't producing enough already and that's the reason for taking the exogenous T to get his levels back up.

Many hospital doctors have their own clinics which are usually open in the evenings and/or weekends. I think you would be better off visiting a specialist urologist and the only one I know in Ching Rai is on Walking Street. I dont remember the name but coming from the town it is on the right hand side and has blue writing.

Honestly getting gear is also one of the reasons why some ppl travel to thailand cos it's cheaper but might not be the authetic one. One such famous on a forum personality by the name of aziz from bodybuillding.com from australia died of a heart attack in a sauna in bkk which is unrelated to the reason as to why he went to thailand to get dat cell tech.
