VALIDITY OF "O" VISA MULTIPLE

Featured Replies

My O visa multiple is valid until Aug 15th 2013.

I entered Thailand on this visa on the 6th August and can stay until 3rd November 2013.

If I need to stay longer (medical treatment),

A) can the visa be used again for a border run although it expired Aug15th?

B) Is a border run the only way to get an extension of stay?

thanks for answers

No

But with letter from doctor you could get an extension for medical treatment at immigration..

If married to a Thai you could also get a 60 day extension to visit her.

Your Multiple Entry Non Immigrant 'O' Visa has already expired, but your Permission to Stay is good until 3rd November because the was still valid when you last entered Thailand on the 8th August.

You would now only currently get 15 days at a land border, but as already posted above, you may be able to get an Extension of this Permission to Stay beyond the 3rd November at your local immigration dept with a doctor's letter stating for example that you are unable to travel to the border for x days or y weeks.
