dogpoo Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 As you can see the right hand bolt fits to the Forza frame, the left hand bolt attaches the exhaust to the bracket, there are no other fixing points, the bottom 2 holes which were for the standard exhaust are covered up. There has been a change to the swing arm from the Euro version or an earlier version. The 3 mounting points on that bracket are incorrect. I'm about to make my own bracket to cure the issue. The Akrapovic is sooo much lighter than the standard exhaust, the instructions only mention one fixing point to the bike, a friend has had his on the bike for a long time without any problems, I have had no problems! I agree with you, this is getting silly and again you are right it's up to the owners what they do with there bikes, personally I add things to make the bike look better in my eyes, nothing I add has anything to do with wanting to make a slow bike go faster, I am very happy with limiting my speed to between 80/100 kph on open roads and slower around Phuket, it's fast enough for me, the bracket is fine to me, I will change it if there is a replacement available.
