Does anyone know of budget accommodation on the southeast side of Bangkok or Bangna area.

My friend is a student in Ireland. He is coming over in June for 3 months and is looking for a place to stay. Can anyone recommend affordable apartments?

I reckon it's about 6,000THB/month for 3 months. He has lived in Thailand for years previously, so he knows all the ins & outs. He is a nice guy and respects Thai tradition and laws.

I appreciate any help that you can give.

I have a house in an area called "Prawet" ..(Next to Bangna) ...I have seen Executive Apartments (look nice from the outside) for rent (huge sign on Building advertising) starting at 8000/baht Its on a street called Chaloem Prakiat (across the street from Kings Park and next to Big C)....Nearby is HUGE shopping centers (Seacon and Paradise). Problem though is Udom Suk or Airport Sky train are both a short taxi or bus ride away. Hope this helps.. Good Luck to your friend

There are quite a few new apartment blocks on Udomsuk mainroad, the cost is around 6,000 THB per month. The best one I am aware of is house on 103 Udomsuk in the new Domino Pizza building, this is a new apartment building but has the great facilities and just 20 bhat ride from BTS Udomsuk.

Better than Bangna area and easier to move around plus the location is right on main road so no problem to get a taxi anytime and also lots of food and supermarkets close by :)

I stay here in Din Daeng nearby Huai Kwang Subway Station, 1,5 km, Sarasinee Mansion 22 Inthamara for 11.000+ electric and water! pool on the roof! refrigerator, water cooker! TV! micro, free wifi a.s.o..

Very nice and comfortable. Deposit one month rent.

Here are two other basic rooms, 500 m north, the same side, and Inthamara 36, also nice possibilities for 5000 all include with free wifi and other one for 4500 + wifi! electric, water. Without all extra.
